tPos na kming mGa 4tH year sa laHat nG exams... sO, wLa na kMing mxDong mgAwa sa school... though, we still really need to go to school for attendance...

then, a brilliant idea come up. . .

wE asked permission kay sir Jonatz that we'll borrow the physics lab kc bored na kmi mxdo...
sa physics lab, may tv and dvd player...
we have 4 DVDs there...

napagtripan nMin ang horror movie...
we dared to watch ' MIRRORS'

well, sabi ko, sNa nakakatakot yung movie kasi di tlg aq tinatablan nyan...
natatawa pa aq sa expressions ng actors pagnatatakot...

silently, we started to watch...

mirrors there are mysterious.
they are able to kill people who have just looked themselves in any kind of mirror..
mirrors can be evils...

it happened in flash back when a guy, named gary lewis, whose so obsessed cleaning the mirrors of the house he was patrolling, looked himself in the mysterious large mirror in the house and his image was left on the mirror... yung itsura nya sa mirror and real world are different...

the mirrors create a virtual world once you see yourself on it... naiiwan yung image mo tpos once you move, your image on that mirror doesn't move, instead, it is staring on you., doing evil things like scratching your neck... but it's just on the mirror where you see that your neck was scratched by your 'complementary self'.. the bad thing is, you could really die by just lookin' at it...

at the middle of the movie, 'takot na takot na kami!!' especially nung may mga scenes na bigla-bigla na lang sumusulpot! volume of our screams- to the max..hahaha

nakakatakot din pla yun... try mo! =p

ang nakakatawa, mas parang takot yung mga boys na kklac ko sa movie...
si ameer, carried away and strongly shocked, nahulog sa stool! hahaha...

kasi. . .

taz c erron, kailangang mag CR, pero takot n xa tumingin sa rectangular mirror na nasa CR ng mga boys... hahaha... di ata naka-wiwi ng maayos... tumakbo agad paalis ng CR..hahaha!

parang wla ng gustong tumingin sa mirror after nung movie...hahaha

so terrible nmn...

everytime na binubuksan ni sir Jonatz yung door sa physics lab, nagugulat kami...
nasa-shock n nmn... taz sumisigaw...

dark din pla kasi yung physics lab namin... we put the curtains and boards para matakpan yung window para maging 'theater-like' na xa...

hahaha...what a day!

The Errors I have encountered while making projects in Visual Basic 6.0

Since we have a computer class, we are required to make different projects with the use of Visual Basic software.

Several times, when we were about to make a project called ''Lucky Seven'', and I am doing and typing codes in the code window, I encountered an error. It says, 'error' runtime number 624.

I am very hot-tempered that time because I and my partner were about to be finished already in our mini-game then suddenly that error occured in the system. I really don't know what to do! I just relaxed a bit to easy my temper. And then, finally, I began to explore to find my mistake. I checked the name of the form and that was ''FrmLucky7'' and what I've typed in the code is a different one! Instead of FrmLucky7, it was named ''Coins''. Hahaha! How funny isn't it to be mad and then laugh at your own mistakes.

*I have learned that I should be careful in writing codes and check their names if it is what really the one I had typed there. I am the one making codes so the errors that may appear is my fault.

Another is the recent project that we have to make called ''Message and Input Boxes''. It is exciting and adventurous for me because the instructions in our handout were just examples. Meaning, I am really the one who must think of the right codes and I'm just guided by the examples! I find it hard at the first time since it's new topic again and our teacher doesn't teach us but she wanted us to explore.

The errors that made me mad again is the ''Block If without End If''' and also the wrong spelling of ''Storetext''. hehe. Block If without end if should be placed after a statement which in which its condition is already satisfied. I always forghot to put and end if before end sub. =p

Also, my spelling of 'storetext' due to super rapid or rush typing, became 'soretext' or 'storetex' that's why my program didn't run at all correctly because the command I have putted has different spelling from what I intended to declare.

I almost encounter an error everytime I have a project to be made in Visual Basic because of my attitude that 'I want to be finished first' and not realizing that it should be done one at a time and I should be careful so that I can work continuously without errors interrupting.

And the last error I have encountered again is when we are making ''Math Operators'' project is ''Syntax Error'' also the statement ''Else without If''. I encountered syntax error because several of my lines have a ' within the "" so maybe that's it. I encountered ''Else without If''' because I made a condition in which it is not clear and I should not put ElseIf twice,instead, ''Else'' only if the previous conditions are not satisfied. I am just confused in using the conditions since it is done in visual basic mixed with other codes plus the message boxes and others.

I've realized that doing projects is fun and exciting. I've also realized that in order for a project to become a successful one, I must be careful enough not to create an error and critical enough to debug errors.

Errors are just normal for us, like me, who is just beginning to create a certain program. But any errors not corrected may lead to failure and all your sacrifices making it will be wasted. So, my advice is be careful enough and be patient to fix errors.

Thank you ma'am also for letting us make wonderful projects in Visual Basic...=p

mY LeArninGs in cOmpUteR pRogramMing

Our subject - TLE, particularly computer programming last quarter tackled about flowcharting. Now, we opened up a new topic in programming with the use of a software called Visual Basic 6.0

Visual Basic topics are so interesting! It's difficult at first because there are so many terms to familiarize and buttons or tools to know. But then, I tried my very best to learn those things and I made it! I and my partner have created a mini-game called Lucky Seven. It is an accomplishment for us even though it's not that a big thing and it's just like a game for kids. I and my partner Rosette felt so happy and satisfied doing that project game in Visual Basic.

One unforgettable experience also is when our group "MocHamOhkEamOi" was about to report about "making my first program" in VBasic because none of our groupmates knew on how to use Visual Basic. But I, courageously took the challenge to report about it even though I don't know that much. I just followed the instructions written in the manual and when I made a mistake because I'm just a beginner, I just make 'palusot' and smiled...^^,

We are so lucky that in our time while in high school, we are already taught on how to use Visual Basic 6.0. It is a great advantage for us students! It became our edge to other students as well as other schools also.

I'm very grateful that in my high school life, I've learned how to use it. I will cherish the knowledge I gained until college life..

RefLection (tle flowcharting)

Flowcharting is a:

"Graphical representation of a process, such as a manufacturing operation or a computer operation, indicating the various steps taken as the product moves along the production line or the problem moves through the computer.

Individual operations can be represented by closed boxes, with arrows between boxes indicating the order in which the steps are taken and divergent paths determined by variable results."

Flowcharting has been part of my 4th year life. Flowcharting experiences in computer programming is unforgettable. It is great! My experiences in doing the flowchart for different problems has always been exciting! I admit, it's difficult at first. But when you learn to understand and you know the concepts well, it will be easy on the succeeding chapters.

One thing I love in flowcharting is it makes my mind go on thinking and analyzing deeper and deeper while having fun! =) It made my logic flow better and better. I only have just to use deep analysis and logic in order to solve the problems given by our teacher.

Flowcharting has a significant influence also in my life- not just in school. It helped me to think clearer and easier about real situations in life in which I can apply those learnings. It's a matter of YES or NO.

Learning how to do flowcharting helped me a lot. It expanded my knowledge about computer programming. It helped me to understand what programmers really are doing. If all of us know how to do programming like this simple flowchart, it will be a great help in our school and society because flowcharting has many applications in real world.

And that's the beauty of flowcharting.^^
